Quickbooks™
Document Management with
AppendIT™
and
vFiler™
Document Imaging Software
vFiler™
document imaging software automatically files your documents
(batch filing) into the Windows folders (directories) on your PC
or server that are organized the same as QuickBooks (lists).
AppendIT
locates your documents without leaving Quickbooks!
Folder names are the same familiar names
you already use for the QuickBooks entities. A document is
linked by placing it or its desktop shortcut into the
appropriate folder. There is no duplication of effort, no
separate user interface to learn, and no database to set up.
vFiler™
and
AppendIT makes it easy by combining the power of QuickBooks
and Windows: Things you already know how to use.
Access all your linked files instantly
from the QuickBooks company pull down menu. AppendIT is
completely integrated with QuickBooks. There's no switching back
and forth.
AppendIT goes to work when you save
a new QuickBooks entry. It automatically sets up a Windows
folder to hold related documents and files.
vFiler™
automatically files batches of documents, images, email, faxes,
desktop shortcuts, links to Web pages, etc... everything in the
folder is linked. From then on just call up the form for that
entry and use the Company pull down on the QuickBooks menu bar
to open the AppendIT folder. If you're not using
QuickBooks, you can access the linked documents easily using
Windows Explorer or Google Desktop Search. AppendIT is
the easiest way to manage all the supporting documents without
leaving Quickbooks.
vFiler™
and
AppendIT are flexible. You control which QuickBooks entries
can be linked and how much automation is used in the process.
For example, rather than create folders for all existing
QuickBooks data, you can elect to link old entries automatically
or selectively, when you open them in QuickBooks. You also
control where AppendIT creates the linked folders and how
vFiler™
files
them: On your PC or on a server, in a directory location you
specify. Use Windows to control access. Include AppendIT's
directories in your existing backup procedure. It's very
simple.
If you stop using AppendIT, the data
remains just as you created it. Nothing is ever lost.
