KnowledgeTree™ provides tight integration with the Windows desktop and Microsoft Office applications, allowing Windows and Office users direct access to the document repository from their desktop and within Microsoft Office applications. Users can drag & drop files from their desktops and open and check-in documents from within Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. KnowledgeTree™ goes beyond the WebDAV and CIFS interfaces provided by other vendors by allowing Windows desktop and Microsoft Office users the ability to manage metadata, versions and workflow from the Windows desktop.
