| Status Active/Inactive | Active web groups are listed in members' Selected Web Group menu. Inactive web groups are not listed in members' Selected Web Group menu. Only root users have access to inactive web groups. An inactive web group can be made active again at any time by changing its status to active. |
| Check In-and-Out Files | All authorized members can upload and download files. Files do not require administrator approval. |
| New Files Require Approval | All authorized members can upload files, but they must be approved by an administrator before other members can view them. |
| Limited Distribution | Files flagged as Limited Distribution can only be downloaded by members with Limited Distribution privileges. |
| View Unapproved Files | Note: This option only shows up if New files require Approval is checked. Members can view and download unapproved files, but can't make any changes to the file or its properties until the file is approved by an administrator. |
| Use Enhanced Action Items | Root users and administrators can create Action Item Access Groups and assign member groups and individual members to the Action Item Access Groups (similar to setting permissions to a library folder). |
3. Clicking on Save creates the new web group and takes you to the Members screen.
